India were 13-3 off 8.3 overs when heavy rain stopped play in the third and final one-day international against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium on Thursday.
The visitors lost their openers with just eight runs on the board after captain Suresh Raina won the toss and chose to bat in the day-night clash.
Teenage paceman Taskin Ahmed then got rid of Ambati Rayudu (one) off his first ball to reduce India to 13-3.
The Indians, fielding a second-string side, have already wrapped up the series 2-0 after winning the opening match by seven wickets and the next by 47 runs.
