Nasser Hussain tips England to enjoy limited-overs success against Pakistan

Former England captain Nasser Hussain has tipped Eoin Morgan's side to continue their one-day international dominance over Pakistan this summer.

Although Pakistan moved top of the International Cricket Council Test rankings after fighting back to draw the four-match series, England have an excellent recent record against the tourists in 50-over cricket.

They have beaten Pakistan in their last three ODI series, in 2010, 2012 and 2015 respectively, and Hussain expects England to keep the winning feeling going over the next five matches.

"I wouldn't write off Pakistan, but it is different," the 48-year-old pundit, who will launch new channel Sky Sports Mix on Wednesday, told Press Association Sport.

"I think they are ranked ninth in one-day cricket which is odd because historically they have been a very good one-day side.

"They are a little bit more hit and miss in one-day cricket at the moment. Their senior players who gave them such a calming influence in Test cricket, like Misbah (ul-Haq) and Younis (Khan), are not there.

"A little bit like we saw in the UAE, they have their good days and suddenly the wheels come off from nowhere.

"I expect England to win, not so much because of Pakistan but because England are on an upward curve with one-day cricket.

"W hat Eoin Morgan, (Trevor) Bayliss and (Paul) Farbrace have done with the one-day side is unrecognisable. The style and brand of cricket they are playing is just phenomenal."
