Middlesex have signed Junaid Khan as their overseas player, replacing Joe Burns.
The Pakistan pace bowler will link-up with Middlesex immediately ahead of their Royal London One-Day Cup clash at former county Lancashire on Wednesday.
Middlesex say Khan will primarily be available for one-day action but can also play in the Championship if required.
"We are delighted to have got a bowler of Junaid's quality at such short notice," managing director of cricket Angus Fraser said.
"I would like to thank the Pakistan Cricket Board for their help in getting this deal through."
