Former county colleagues Jonathan Trott and Ashley Giles were among the mourners at the funeral of ex-Warwickshire bowler Tom Allin.
The 28-year-old, who represented the county until 2013 before returning to his native Devon, died on January 4.
Family, friends and former cricketing team-mates were among those present at All Hallows Church in Woolsery for his funeral.
Mr Allin's coffin was carried by his Bideford team-mates, all wearing Bideford Cricket Club shirts with 'Allin 87' on the back, with more team-mates providing a guard of honour with raised cricket bats.
Warwickshire and England batsman Ian Bell tweeted: "Moving and emotional day today saying good bye to Tommy Allin. Thoughts with his family. #RIPTom #AlwaysBeABear"
