India win toss and elect to bat

India won the toss and elected to bat in their tri-series one-day international against England in Brisbane on Tuesday.

Rohit Sharma, who made a century in India's four-wicket loss to Australia on Sunday at the MCG, was left out of the side due to a sore hamstring.

He was replaced by Ambati Rayudu, while Stuart Binny replaced Ravichandran Ashwin.

England, also beaten by Australia in their opening match, recalled leading pace bowler James Anderson at the expense of Chris Jordan.
