England player ratings for the Twenty20 series against Pakistan

England completed a 3-0 series victory against Pakistan on Monday as they showed themselves to be a Twenty20 force to be reckoned with.

Here is a look at how England's players performed:

Jason Roy: After scoring his maiden England century in the final one-day international he failed to maintain his form and had two scores under 10. 6/10

Alex Hales: Scores of eight and 11 were a poor return for the world's third-ranked Twenty20 batsman, but he remains a vital part of the World T20 plans. 5

James Vince: The Hampshire skipper was the top run-scorer and was named man of the series, in his first for England, to firm up his case for a place in the World T20 squad. 9

Joe Root: He passed Kevin Pietersen's seven-year record for the most runs by an England player in a calendar year during the series. England's best batsman. 7

Moeen Ali: Did a job with the ball, however two ducks in the series was hardly the return he wanted with the bat. 5

Eoin Morgan: The left-hander is looking increasingly assured as captain - England have now won their past six Twenty20s - and his batting is back to its best. 7

Jos Buttler: Clubbed 33 from 22 balls when he stepped up as captain in Dubai - where he hit a 46-ball ton during the ODI series - to confirm his lean run is behind him. 7

Sam Billings: Man of the match in the opening game after blazing his first England half-century. Perhaps significantly he was one of just three players to appear in all three games. 7

Chris Woakes: The go-to man at the death, he held his nerve in the second game, when defending 11 runs in the final over, before denying Pakistan the three from four they needed in the tied match. A very handy batsman too. 8

David Willey: England like his feisty personality, and the fact he is a left-armer, while he can hit a long ball at the end of the innings. He will play in the Big Bash League in the lead-up to World T20. 6

Chris Jordan: The Sussex all-rounder did not have a great series until delivering a nerveless Super Over to effectively seal a 3-0 series whitewash in Sharjah. 7

Adil Rashid: The leg-spinner proved how important he will be at the World T20 with his variations bamboozling the Pakistan batsmen while also being economical. 7

Liam Plunkett: The Yorkshireman took six wickets in two games - the most by any bowler - as he found bounce and pace out of the spin-friendly wickets to significantly boost his World T20 hopes. 8

Stephen Parry: The left-arm spinner showed he is a better bowler than his first stint for England and provides another option to the attack ahead of the World T20. 6

Reece Topley: The Hampshire left-armer took three for 24 in his only game, but did not get another run-out thereafter following his impressive ODI series. 7
