England re-wrote the one-day international record books against Pakistan at Trent Bridge.

Here, Press Association Sport looks at the records to fall - and one near miss.

:: England's 444 for three was the highest ever one-day international score, beating Sri Lanka's 443 for nine against Holland in 2006.

:: They surpassed their own previous record 50-over score of 408 with 16 balls to spare.

:: Alex Hales' 171 was England's highest ODI score, beating Robin Smith's 23-year-old record of 167 not out against Australia.

:: Jos Buttler reached his half-century in 22 balls, the fastest by an England batsman in ODIs.

:: Wahab Riaz's figures of nought for 110 were the second-worst in ODI history, "beaten" only by Mick Lewis' nought for 113 for Australia against South Africa in 2006.
