Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and elected to bat on Monday at the start of the second Test against Zimbabwe in the southern city of Khulna.

Bangladesh lead the three-Test series 1-0 thanks to a nervy three-wicket win in the first Test in Dhaka last week.

The home side brought in paceman Rubel Hossain for Al-Amin Hossain, who opted out because he is taking exams at university.

Zimbabwe made three changes from the first Test, handing debuts to batsman Brian Chari and leg-spinner Natsai M'shangwe and bringing in Malcolm Waller for Vusimuzi Sibanda, Tafadzwa Kamungozi and John Nyumbu.

The third Test will be held in Chittagong from November 12-16 before the two teams begin a series of five one-day internationals.
