Bangalore bad weather wipes out another day of India v South Africa Test

Play has been abandoned for the third successive day in the second Test between India and South Africa in Bangalore due to the inclement weather.

No play was possible on days two and three at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and now the fourth day has been washed out without a ball being bowled as well.

The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) has announced that the final day's play will begin at 0915 local time if weather permits, but the chances of either side now claiming a win seem remote.

India closed the first day on 80 without loss in reply to South Africa's 214 all out.

The hosts won the first match of the four-Test series by 108 runs in Mohali.
