Sport.co.uk have teamed up with Team GAC Pindar to offer one lucky reader and guest, the chance to enjoy a VIP day at the Extreme Sailing Series event in Cowes on Sunday August 1, including a high thrill passenger ride on board the team’s Extreme 40 catamaran.
The Extreme Sailing Series Europe is one of the most exciting events on the sailing calendar and a highlight of the Cowes Week programme. A total of nine world class teams will race over 6 days on spectacular 40-ft catamarans, from July 31-August 5,
The prize includes full hospitality in the VIP lounge and a chance to follow the action from the best seats in the house. After the racing guests will enjoy on-shore entertainment from ‘Sailing Rocks’ featuring an island-based DJ, selected by BBC Radio 1 / Bestival star Rob da Bank, who will perform a live set.
Team GAC Pindar is a unique partnership between independent sailing company Team Pindar and global shipping, logistics and marine services provider GAC Group. The team is skippered by Australian all-round yachtsman, Nick Moloney who boasts a rich and successful sailing career, including 2 America’s Cup campaigns and 12 individual World Sailing Speed Records.
