Tyson Fury kept it short and sweet as he promised an explosive knockout when he takes on Steve Cunningham in New York on Saturday.

The controversial heavyweight was at his exuberant best as he gave his take on how the fight will unfold at Madison Square Garden Theatre.

Victory over Cunningham will set Fury up for a final eliminator against Kubrat Pulev with the winner facing IBF world champion Wladimir Klitschko.

‘Training camp has been really good and I’ve had good sparring partners,’ he said.

‘This is how it’s going to go: Fury comes out jabbing, Cunningham is running then boom, spark out! That’s all you’re going to see.

‘There’s only one star here and it’s not Steve Cunningham, this is the Tyson Fury roadshow.

‘Steve Cunningham is not the champion, he's not the best looking, it’s all about me, me, me. I’m the best fighter on the planet.

‘I’m the undefeated one, I’m bringing this show to town; without me there is no fight.

‘Steve Cunningham is a stepping stone.’
